With only eight days left until our Global Halloween competition is over, we wanted to offer our students a couple of ideas to help them get creative and look at making some spooky bakes this Halloween.

To enter this competition all you need to do is bake or create a potion and post the image on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #dwellglobalhalloween2019. You will then be entered in to a prize draw to win £120 vouchers plus a 5 nights stay in a dwell property in either Singapore, South Korea, Australia, USA or in the UK*.

Take a look at some ideas below:

Eerie Eyeballs

You can find the full recipe for this on www.bbcgoodfood.com seems easy to make and looks really effective.

Halloween Cupcakes

Make it simple on yourself. Buy a cake mix, get some icing and add little spooky faces to the top. Simple.

Eyeball Pasta

Go savoury with this simple dish. What do you need to put on top to make it feel like Halloween? Eyeballs, Mozzarella eyeballs in this case.

Creepy Smoothies

Blend up a smoothie of your choice- use Spinach, Kale, Avocado, Oat Milk whatever you like and doodle a Frankenstein or monster design on your glass. Take a look at curious cuisiniere’s blog for more details.

Ghost Meringues

If you’re looking to make something quick- go on Tesco Real Food for the full recipe for Ghost Meringues- all you need is sugar, eggwhites and chocolate. Give it a go.
