Every year 19th of November is marked around the world as International Men’s Day. The main aim of the day is to highlight and raise awareness for serious issues regarding men’s well-being including but not limited to, high suicide rates, mental health issues, male cancers, abuse and homelessness.

If you would like to join in with the campaign’s work, not just for today but throughout the year, you can do so through many routes. You can start by looking up what events are happening around you in your city and at university. These are often easily found through their own respective websites and social media pages. Events can range from fun initiatives such as Movember Fundraising efforts to more detailed conferences on specific topics, so pick ones that will engage you the most.
