It’s now well into the New Year, and that means one thing: trying to get through the rest of January.
You’re suffering from the cold weather, having indulgence withdrawals after pigging out over the Christmas period, and you’re trying to get ready for your next assignments and exams.
So when taking all that into consideration, it’s no surprise if you’re feeling a little ‘meh’ after having the festive break away from university. To help keep you on track, check out our top tips for staying motivated:
1. Positive thinking
First things first, you need to have a positive mind set to help tackle what’s ahead of you.
Perhaps you like doing yoga, any form of exercise, or even simply watching the latest release on Netflix. Just find something that puts you in the right frame of mind, so that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going… away. It’s a great way to stay motivated!
2. Set targets
To help know if you’re on course or not, whether that’s for university life or even what you want to achieve personally, then you will need to set goals.
Not only will it help you aim for something, but it should keep you that extra bit motivated to reach your goal.
3. Plan it
Creating goals will help you know where you need to get to, but do you know how to get there?
Well, write down your goal, and then work out the different steps needed to reach it. Because as you hit each step, you can get the satisfaction of ticking it off and knowing you’re one step closer!
