As some of you might be aware, A-Level Results Day isn’t long off now. You’ll soon see if your all-nighters revising, and constant study sessions have paid off!
Whether you know you’ve got the grades in the bag, or you’re unsure what’s going to happen, here’s our guide of what to expect!
Thursday 16th August
Although I’m sure you’re counting down the days to it, the A-Level results will be released on Thursday 16th August.
Before it gets round to this day, your college should let you know how to collect your results. You may get them via email, or you may be able to get them in person.
However you collect them, have someone to share the news with!
Got your ideal grades?
That’s fantastic! Most of your results will be sent through to UCAS who would then send them across to your choices. Or, you may need to send the results across to your universities/colleges yourself.
If you received better grades than expected, and wish to see if there’s any other courses now available to you, just look into the Adjustment services that UCAS provide and see what might be on offer.
Not received your dream grades?
Don’t panic, you still have plenty of options! With your grades, you may be able to:
- Get onto your firm or insurance choice
- Study a different course with your preferred university or college
- Be offered a course at a different university or college, but you can still look through other places
- (This process is called Clearing)
